The sockeye fishing continues to be excellent and will be so for the next few weeks. We are still catching lots of sockeye close to our docks without the run further south. We have been catching coho and chinook on most charters as well. All reports are that there are still millions of sockeye still mingling out in Georgia Strait that still have to make there way to the Fraser mouth. We have been finding the sockeye to be a bit deeper during the afternoon bites. Depths from 70-100′ seem to be producing the bulk of the sockeye. Morning charters we have found the sockeye and chinook to be shallower. Lots of killer whales, seals, porpoise and jumping sockeye that keep your eyes busy. Lots of fun so book your charter while the sockeye fishing is hot.
