This fall has been great for chinook, coho, chum and sturgeon fishing. For September we saw a huge run of chinook return to the Fraser River, Vedder River and Harrison River. Following this run has been a good run of coho to the Vedder River and north side tributaries of the Fraser River over the last few weeks and the sturgeon fishing continues to be ‘on fire‘ for us. Still time to get out for coho, chum and sturgeon fishing over the next few weeks.
We are getting geared up for our popular winter chinook fishery where we drop crab traps and prawn traps on longer charters and troll for the feisty and delicious feeder chinook in the Vancouver Harbour. December through May is prime time for winter chinook fishing.
